"JD is talented, pugnacious and unafraid to counter-attack when the team is in trouble. What makes him such a dangerous player is the combination of orthodox batsmanship alongside unique shots he seems to have invented himself. He can turn his off-breaks pretty sharply and had some brilliant days in the field last year. Hopefully a winter at the Academy will make him even better in 2006.
