Although Middlesex's home ground is Lord's, the club has been playing a
regular summer festival of cricket at Southgate since 1998. The Walker
Ground, named after the family that founded Middlesex County Cricket
Club, is one of the most beautiful grounds in the country and a perfect
setting for a relaxing day out. Alan Lee writing in the 2002 'The Times
good ground guide' called Southgate "a haven from the crush of suburbia" and described
the ground as "green and quaint with the cottage at the entrance and
the church with its splendid spire and chiming clock". The ground is
ideally located only 5 minutes from the North Circular Road (A406) and the
Southgate Underground station.
A fun and relaxing way to entertain your clients and colleagues.
At the northern end of the ground we have a hospitality marquee, which can cater for parties of between 10 and 100 people. The marquee is split into sections so you have a private area together with a fenced in garden, to allow you to sit outside with a perfect view of the game. The package is all inclusive so you don't need to worry about having to pay for anything on the day, although a cash bar can be provided if you wish. The best aspect to entertaining with Middlesex at Southgate is that we are completely flexible and we can put together a package exactly the way you want it.
You will have all day to get to know your client - that has to be good for business.
